Refund policy

Overview

Mediterranean Week sells digital subscription-based meal plans and related digital content. We do not sell or ship physical goods unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Because our products are delivered digitally and access may be granted shortly after purchase, our refund policy is different from a physical-product return policy.

1. Digital products and subscriptions

Mediterranean Week products are generally provided as:

  • digital weekly meal plans,
  • digital monthly meal plans,
  • hosted plan pages,
  • downloadable files,
  • subscription-based access through your customer account.

Because these are digital products and subscription services, we do not accept physical returns.

2. Refunds for change of mind

Except where required by law, we do not offer refunds for:

  • change-of-mind purchases,
  • accidental purchases made after checkout is completed,
  • failure to read the product description before purchase,
  • failure to use the plan after access has been granted,
  • dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference,
  • duplicate purchases made by the customer on separate accounts or separate checkouts, unless we decide otherwise in our discretion.

In BC, businesses generally set their own refund and exchange policies unless another legal rule applies.

3. If access has not been provided properly

If you purchased a plan and did not receive access as described, please contact us at support@mediterraneanweek.com.

Where appropriate, we may provide one or more of the following remedies:

  • re-send the access email,
  • restore account access,
  • correct the plan assignment,
  • provide the correct weekly or monthly plan manually,
  • issue a partial or full refund where we determine that access was not properly provided.

4. Wrong plan or billing error

If you were charged incorrectly, received the wrong plan due to our error, or experienced a duplicate charge caused by a system issue, contact us promptly at support@mediterraneanweek.com.

If we confirm a billing or fulfillment error on our side, we will correct it and, where appropriate, issue a refund or adjustment.

5. Subscription cancellations

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

If you cancel your subscription:

  • future renewals will stop;
  • cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing period;
  • you may continue to have access for the remainder of the paid period, depending on how your subscription is configured.

6. Failed payments, renewals, and reactivations

If a renewal payment fails, we may send you a notice asking you to update your payment method. If payment is not completed, your access may be restricted, paused, or cancelled.

If you later reactivate your subscription, that reactivation does not entitle you to a refund for prior billing periods.

7. Promotional purchases, discounted purchases, and gift purchases

Except where required by law, purchases made:

  • during promotions,
  • using discount codes,
  • as sale or special offers,
  • or as gifts

remain subject to this Refund Policy and are not automatically refundable.

8. Consumer rights required by law

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

For BC consumers, certain online-purchase cancellation/refund rights can apply in specific cases, such as where required contract information was not provided or the goods/services were not supplied within the legal timeframes described by Consumer Protection BC. In those cases, Consumer Protection BC states the business has 15 days to issue the refund after valid cancellation.

9. EU / EEA consumers

If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may have a legal right to withdraw from certain online purchases within 14 days. However, for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, that withdrawal right can be lost once performance begins with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose the withdrawal right.

Please include:

  • your full name,
  • the email used for purchase,
  • your order number,
  • the plan purchased,
  • and a short description of the issue.
